MEMBERSHIP DRIVE STARTS OCT 1ST!

Thinking about joining the Canadian Federation of Musicians?

Now is the right time to do it. Kingston Musicians’ Union is having a membership drive and new members  can save $95 on joining fees.

Why should I Join?

The American and Canadian Federation of Musicians is the largest entertainment organization in the world dedicated to representing the interests of the professional musician. No other organization has such a diverse membership -performing all styles of music in every type of venue.  Specialized departments within the AFM/CFM deal with cross-border immigration, electronic and new media recordings, and symphonic, theatrical, touring and freelance services. And we are working for you the musician to bring about Federal and Provincial Status of the Artist legislation, as well as copyright reform and Neighbouring rights.

So what are the benefits?

As a member driven organization, we know what the critical benefits are, from comprehensive instrument, health and liability insurance to a world class pension plan, contract protection with emergency travel assistance and access to AFM-licensed booking agents to keep those gigs coming.
